After tackling the European and Russian encodings in one of our previous updates we’ve been busy working on the Asian character sets! It took us a couple of upgrades, but I’m happy to say that we are finally rolling out full Asian character set support as of earlier today. A big thank you is due to all the bloggers who have have approached us from that part of the world and helped us in testing and integration.

As well, just a few minutes ago we have released an update to fix a delivery bug: some of the filtered RSS feeds were not pushing out new content over the course of past several days even though the data was showing up on our site and in our ‘My Feeds’ section. The problem affected a subset of feeds, and you would have encountered it if you used a 3rd party feed reader application. Our apologies for the inconvenience, and a thank you to Benjamin Newman who gave us the lead on this problem. As of this moment, everything is back to normal and all RSS feeds are being delivered on time!
