It has been a fun week here at AideRSS. The tremendous response certainly shows that we’ve hit a sweet spot, and in case anyone had any doubts, information overload is definitely a universal problem. In fact, earlier today with the help of our users we’ve reached our first big landmark: over 100,000 RSS feeds have been imported into and bookmarked in AideRSS!
We’ve certainly had our hands busy staying on top of the load, and caffeine has been our savior. In the course of past seven days, we’ve had to scale a lot of our internal infrastructure, and we’re still actively working on improving our service. Unfortunately, this does mean that we had to prioritize and some less common feeds are still pending in the update queue. If your feed falls into this category, first, our apologies, and second, please bear with us as we get through the backlog over the next several days. We understand the value of timely content delivery, and it is our goal to deliver such a service!
Now we just need another pot of extra-bold coffee for the night shift!
