PostRank launched just shy of two years ago now, and today we’ve reached another milestone in our history — our name change! AideRSS is officially no more, and we are PostRank Inc. (No comma — apparently that’s more of an American company thing.)
We rebranded as PostRank a while ago, and that’s what most people refer to us as, so to a large degree this is just final I-dotting and T-crossing. Why the change? A number of reasons, ranging from PostRank being easier to pronounce and remember, to PostRank being more accurately descriptive of what we do. Might we develop new technologies in the future that aren’t PostRank? Sure (and that would be really cool). But we can work on naming those bridges as we cross them.
So for now we’ll continue working hard on cool new products and interesting new partnerships, and perhaps celebrate with some cupcakes at our weekly team lunch tomorrow. (And work on switching the names on our various presences online and off.)
