Top Olympic stories for Friday, February 19th

As we blogged prior to the start of the Olympics, to help you keep up with all the news of the Games, we’ve put together an Olympic topic, and we’re also going to present the top stories each day during the Olympics — the gold, silver and bronze medalists, if you will.

Rankings are for stories from the previous day, so today’s rankings are for Friday’s top stories. Additionally, we do cull any non-Olympic-related stories that come up in the rankings to keep things relevant.

To help you brush up on what engagement is and how it works: About PostRank and About Engagement.

So, without further ado…

Gold: Torah Bright Wins Olympic Gold

Silver: Men’s Olympic Free Skate: As it Happens…

Bronze: The Day Elvis Stojko Killed Logic

And for a bit of patriotic fun, we have this video of Jon Montgomery‘s post-gold medal-winning skeleton victory walk and interview. Complete with anthem singing, sports shamans, and beer auctioning!
