Engagement Status
On the homepage there’s a feature that displays a list of randomly selected feeds from our system. This list changes every time the page is refreshed, and an engagement ranking status is displayed beside each feed.

Feeds for which the engagement has gone up in the last month show an upward-facing arrow and number in green.
Feeds for which the engagement has gone down in the last month show a downward-facing arrow and number in red.
The number is the percentage of how much the feed’s engagement has gone up or down in the past month. If a site gets twice as many comments, tweets, bookmarks, etc. as it got the month before, its engagement percentage will go up 100%, for example. (That’s a simplified example of how engagement metrics work.)
In addition to enabling you to see how your favourite blogs might be doing on their engagement, the list also serves as a great discovery engine for finding cool new feeds to subscribe to.
Engagement Metrics
Engagement metrics refer to the data sources we analyze to determine PostRank scores, including blog comments, tweets, and Delicious bookmarks.
To view the engagement metrics for a post, on the My Feeds page move your mouse cursor over any PostRank score. It will pop up the top metrics for that post.
If you see a “No Data” message, it means that the post doesn’t have any metrics data yet, likely because it’s too new. (Either it was published very recently or the feed was added to our system very recently.)
If you notice that a post is several days old and still displaying a “No Data” message, please let us know which feed and post(s) and we’ll investigate.
